Dainty in Daises

I am under the firm belief that too much of what we view in the world as creativity and art are really just horrible attempts at self-promotion, and most of the time misses the mark as far as photography is concerned. With the freedom that came the simple point and shoot camera or webcam came the inundation of one-armed self-shots and party shots with your cousins cut out of the background. I fell across a few ladies by the name Lovely Wolves who seem to know how to highlight the delicate and soft allure of a stranger woman, and what Neverland lies between what girls imagine themselves to be and the world we tread everyday.

Check out a little more at http://lovelywolves.tumblr.com/ .

I really wanna watch this! Rick McCrank is hilarious! Check out a behind the scenes after the jump and Harvey Spannos. Harvey Spannos is the short that won the Director Corey Adams some dollars, well a milli to make Machotaildrop.

Dolce and Gabbana - Men's Fall 2010 Collection

Whoa, okay, so maybe I'm a nerd for fashion but Dolce and Gabbana has absolutely sold me on their 2010 Fall collection presented at Milan Fashion Week. This line is an absolute nod to classic Italian style and tailoring, and somehow remains timeless (take note pseudo-fashionistas), proving that stylish men can still be men. I applaud you D&G.

Skootadelic

Products like the newly designed Skoota might be the way of the future for compact transport. Designed by Stuart Emmerson, the Skoota utilizes an uber-compact K-frame design which can be collapsed to "storage" size in five easy steps. It also introduces the latest Super Charging Lithium Ion (can be charged up to 90% in 5 minutes!) technologies and an in-wheel brushless hub motor to create an entirely sustainable electric personal commuter. Though it maxes it out at about 15 mph, it seems like a completely logical transport system for all of you car-less big city commuters.

Fanged Fanatics

I love all of this prepubescent sexual tension on the screen and in the media these days. Since all of the Twilight I can’t open an issue of Nylon or Teen Vogue without some constant reminder about how sexy the fanged are compared to boring, Dockers-wearing mortal men the rest of us get to end up with. The other day I heard that the new obsession with the pale force rivals that of the mid-90s fanaticism of Dawson’s Creek, which I can’t is too far off from the mark. All I can say is, we have come along way from yearning to twist and curl James Van Der Beek’s middle-parted chili bowl haircut, and there is just something creepy about those vampire’s jetting check bones that I don’t see myself getting over soon.

Jack Penate-"Pull My Heart Away"

My good friend Bob put this on a mixtape, and I can't stop listening to it. Call me sappy but this song just makes you feel happy as fuck... enjoy.

Manuel Gomez Burns

Some seriously glorious stuff from Manuel Gomez Burns, an illustrator and comic artist that does vintage-like art that has been mentally dipped in a vat of psychedelic acid.

Check out more his stuff at his flickr here , or at his blog here.
